Early Learning Philosophy
Guiding children’s learning through play, care, and connection

Belonging, Being and Becoming
Our educational philosophy is inspired by the Montessori and Reggio Emilia approaches, and guided by the Early Years Learning Framework. We believe children learn best when they feel a strong sense of belonging, are respected as individuals, and are supported to grow in confidence and independence.
Through warm, responsive relationships with educators and families, we create a safe and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and understood. Children are encouraged to express their ideas, develop a positive sense of self, and build meaningful connections with others.
By nurturing these strong relationships, we support children to feel secure, curious and ready to engage in rich learning experiences.

Play-Based, Intentional Learning
Our learning program blends the child-led exploration of Reggio Emilia with the purposeful, hands-on learning of Montessori. Children are encouraged to follow their interests, make choices, and engage deeply with materials and experiences that support their development.
Educators observe each child and thoughtfully plan experiences that extend learning in areas such as communication, early literacy and numeracy, creativity and problem-solving. Through both independent and collaborative play, children develop confidence, focus and a love of discovery.
By combining freedom to explore with gentle guidance and structure, we support every child to become a capable, motivated and involved learner.
