Early Learning Framework
Guiding learning through play, belonging, and wellbeing

Belonging, Being and Becoming
The Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) is Australia’s national framework for early childhood education. It recognises that early learning is about more than academic skills — it is about helping children develop a strong sense of identity, wellbeing and connection to the world around them.
We believe every child deserves to feel safe, respected and supported. Through warm, responsive relationships with educators and families, we create an environment where children feel a sense of belonging and are encouraged to be themselves.
By nurturing emotional wellbeing and positive relationships, we help children build confidence, resilience and a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

Play-Based, Intentional Learning
The EYLF is built around play-based learning supported by intentional teaching. This means children learn through hands-on experiences, exploration and discovery, guided by educators who carefully observe, support and extend their learning.
Our program is designed to support children across all five EYLF learning outcomes — including communication, problem solving, creativity, social development and early literacy and numeracy. Educators plan experiences based on each child’s interests, strengths and developmental needs.
Through a balance of child-led play and thoughtful guidance, we support children to become confident, curious and capable learners who are ready for the next stage of their journey.
